“I want to thank Dr. Barry Silverman
for the wonderful job he did on my new dentures and bottom bridge. You would never know there was a bridge there. I can eat everything now with no problem. The denture fits perfect and needs nothing to hold it in place. My family and friends can’t believe how good my teeth look now. As for Dr. Barry, he makes sure the lab does it right or it goes back until it’s the way he wants it to look and feel. His staff is very friendly and caring. They make you feel so comfortable. Thank you all. It was a pleasure.”

“I have been a patient of Drs. Silverman
and Gott since 1999, and have always been pleased with their manner and methods of treatment
and outcome. In April 2008 I was in for my quarterly cleaning. When that was finished, Dr. Silverman
came into the room to do his usual exam.
Instead of the usual admonition to brush better,
he informed me he felt a lump below my jaw and that it must be looked at immediately. He referred
me to an oncologist. A biopsy was done and the diagnosis revealed Parotid Gland Cancer. A relatively
rare type. (This is the same cancer that struck newscaster Greta Van Sustern). This cancer was also
diagnosed in the lead singer of the Beastie Boys. A week later I was examined at memorial Sloan
Kettering in Manhattan whereupon I was informed that the cancer had been discovered early and
that it had not yet spread. Since this cancer was so rare (3,000 cases per year), it was not
usually detected this early because most health professionals had never encountered it. Two
weeks later, i underwent surgery and then seven weeks of radiation therapy. My one year scans
were clear. I, and my wife and children, will be forever grateful to Dr. Silverman. His skill
and thoroughness made possible early and effective treatment with a much higher probability of
a good outcome. Also...I will NEVER grumble about cleaning appointments again!”
