Meet Dr. Barry Silverman and Dr. Eric Gott

For 22 years, Dr. Silverman and Dr. Gott have established themselves as part of a Bayside tradition of dental comfort and care by bringing their patients only the best that modern dentistry has to offer. They’ve continued this tradition for the past six years in Bellmore, where they opened their most recent location.

Dr. Silverman, a 1981 graduate of the University of Louisville, has lectured extensively in the tristate area on implant dentistry, crown and bridge dentistry and sedation. He was also the director of pediatric dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center, North Central Bronx Hospital and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

A 1990 graduate of Boston University, Dr. Gott has worked and trained to build a practice that exceeds your expectations of trusted, personalized dental care. He brings his patients only the most informed, comfortable and personalized care by keeping himself and his staff educated on the latest advances and techniques in dentistry.

Dr. Eric Gott

Eric Gott, D.M.D, was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. He attended Quinnipiac University, graduating with a B.S. degree in biology. Dr. Gott is a 1990 graduate of Boston University School of Dentistry. Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Gott has never stopped being a student of his profession. He is a member of a monthly study club where the latest in the dental technology, materials, case presentation and treatment planning are discussed with other dental professionals. For the past 17 years he has attended numerous courses and seminars that keep him in tune with the latest advances and changes in cosmetic dentistry, implants, endodontics (root canal therapy) and other aspects of dentistry. Dr. Gott lives in Merrick with his wife, Robin, and their three children.

Dr. Barry Silverman

Barry Silverman, D.M.D., graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1981. He was later a resident at Long Island Jewish Hospital, gaining extensive experience in the treatment of the medically compromised patients. He trained in anesthesia at Maimonides Hospital, he then completed the pediatric dentistry program affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, including advanced training in treating the developmentally disabled. He is a past director of pediatric dentistry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Like the rest of our team, Dr. Barry Silverman participates extensively in continuing education, with an emphasis on implant and cosmetic dentistry. He also attends monthly study clubs. He lives in Merrick with his wife, Geri, and their three children.
